Providing they are used in a normal manner without abuse or alteration..
Allow me to explain the above statement.
ABUSE: A knife is a tool which you use to cut, slice, whittle, skin & etc. It is NOT an axe, maul, froe, prybar, screwdriver , spear, THROWING KNIFE (unless it is built for that use) &ct. You do not HIT the knife with hard object, (i.e. axe, pipe, rock, or such) to try to split wood, pelvises &ct. because if you don't outright break the blade, you may cause stress in it that will weaken and possibly cause it to break in the future. And NO, my knives are not that hard, The spine is relatively soft while the edge is harder for edge holding. But that is another issue. Use the knife as a knife and you will have a tool that will last generations. Break it because you abused it, and it will just be a good lesson to you.
ALTERATION: Simple. If the knife is left as you bought it, it is guaranteed. You can inlay, wrap and such the haft. But if you are driving tacks in it and it splits, tough. Easy.
